He was a member of the Bailar Dance School, one of the most important dance training organisations in Uberlandia, Brazil. Here he learned Samba, Forro, Zouk, Bolero, Tango, Lindy Hop, Salsa and other Latin dances.
In 2008, Arthur moved to Sao Paulo where he continued developing his dancing and teaching skills. He specialised mainly in Salsa, Samba de Gafieira and Brazilian Zouk. His teachers being internationally known masters such as Douglas Mohmari (Conexion Caribe Dance Company), Rodrigo Oliveira and Karina Carvalho (Clube Latino), Marcelo Cunha and Karina Sabah (A2).
In 2009, Arthur had six-month’s dance experience in London at the Latin Dance Academy where he had a chance to learn from world-known teachers such as Super Mario and Susana Montero and Shaan. It was here that he met and fell in love with Lithuanian dancer Aiste Kalabuchova whom he then married, moving back to Brazil and founding a dance academy together – “Inovadanca” – which continues to go from strength to strength. They have performed and taught together at congresses in Europe and South America, including the First Rio Salsa Congress in Rio de Janeiro, the 7th Brazil Salsa Congress in Sao Paulo, and the Ladies’ Salsa Congress in Brasilia.
Because of Arthur`s combined knowledge and variety of different latin dance styles, he is a natural dancer and light lead which always makes him a pleasure to dance with.
